7-Step Sunday ritual to make Monday morning less crappy. 💩

Happy Monday?

Do you know if Monday is statistically the most disliked day of the week? It has to be, right?

I wanted to improve the start of a new week, so over time, I’ve crafted a Sunday night routine. This is what keeps me from having a case of the Mondays.

7-Step Sunday ritual to make Monday morning less crappy. 💩

  1. I declutter my desk/office, usually with Brain.fm setting the mood.

  2. Then, I get down to planning the week – all the stuff I've got to do (tasks, meetings, goals.)

  3. I look back at what I didn’t quite get to last week. It either gets a spot in the coming week or goes into the 'maybe someday' pile.

  4. I’ve found this step helps if I go old school, writing out my weekly review with an actual pen and paper – the good, the bad, and the ugly.

  5. Next, is mind mapping time – where I put all my random thoughts, project ideas, and content concepts.

  6. All this while playing a game of 'dodge the cat' with the queen of the house who thinks my keyboard is her throne.

  7. To wrap up, I make sure there's enough water in the kettle for tomorrow’s morning caffeine fix. ☕️ We use the Fellow Stagg in our house, it’s been great.
